i am back with some cool stuff of rooting method of xolo q700s smart phone.
As xolo q700s was launched with android 4.2.2 jelly bean out of the box.. And an update came within few months upgrading the system software to android 4.4.2 kitkat .
Most of tge guys have rooted their phone using framaroot.1.9.1.apk when it was on 4.2.2 jellybean but now as after upgrading to kitkat that process failed to root the phone.
What a mess.....
No...
Still you can root your device.
Things which will be needed...
1. Sp flash tool latest version along with android universal drivers installed on pc.
2. Cwm or twrp recovery of q700s (you can find one while googling it ).
3. Now switch off your device and remove the battery .
4. Now open flash tool and click on scatter file. Browse the location of scatter file (mostly you will get it in stock rom ) . then after it loads all the files in flash tool uncheck all the files except the recovery option.
5. Now select the recovery and click over it then browse the location where you have kept the cwm or twrp recovery.
6. Attach your phone with a usb cable tp pc while the battery is still removed.
7. Click on download mode on pc screen on flash tool .
8. Now suddenly insert the battery. Recovery will be flashed.
9. Now download supersu.zip and flash the zip by placing it in your memorycard and boot your device in recovery and select the supersu.zip file. Finally reboot your device . your device will be rooted.
